The UAS Tool and the Wide Area Search (WAS) plugins for both WinTAK and ATAK are now available to all registered users of the TAK.Gov Website. The HAMMER acoustic modem is also available there.
Anyone* can register an account — you don’t need to be a government employee or emergency responder, though those can access additional resources if you are.
If you are not a US user, these may be available from other sources. Note however that you should never trust software from unknown sources.
*This web site is however, only open to US users. Thus, while they may be publicly available and releasable to those eligible or EAR99 technology, they can’t get to the software directly.
