$20,000 CivTAK Hackathon!!!

The Griffiss Institute is sponsoring a virtual “Takathon” over the next six weeks focusing on civilian uses of TAK for large scale events.

The prize will be $20,000!

This Hackathon focuses on what TAK does best:

This challenge invites participants to transform the coordination of large-scale public events using advanced technology like ATAK and CivTAK. The challenge focuses on enhancing real-time communication, situational awareness, and seamless operations, empowering event organizers, security teams, and public services to manage everything from planning to crisis response effectively.

Below are links to the Hackathon’s web site (with registration and Rules), a handy flyer, and a video of the Hackathon kickoff, including me.

I hope you will consider participating to make “bringing the big picture to the small screen” even better!
